About Hugh's Transport Inc.
Started by Hugh and Betty Simmons in the mid fifties in a back yard garage Hugh's has grown ever since. Moving to a small shop in Mill Creek, Va. then to a small garage on route 11 in Troutville, Va. Mr Simmons then added onto that building making a 17 bay garage complete with inside loading docks and storage areas. Where some Towing operations still operate out of. In 2010 a new 12 bay garage with loading docks was built and open in the Buchanan, Va. area off exit 162 where all major operations now run out of. Sixty plus years later Hugh's is still a family owned and operated company serving the Virginia and outlaying states. We still operate under the same core values and strive to make every customer feel like family.
